Terms of use
Sous Sheet is a free cookbook where you can write recipes as sheets, keep them in an account, and share them. These terms are the ground rules.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. You need to be at least 13 years old to make an account. Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account.
Your recipes
Recipes you write stay yours. They're private until you press Publish. When you publish a recipe, you let anyone view it, rate it, comment on it, and save their own version of it in Sous Sheet, with a link back to yours. You can unpublish or delete it at any time; copies other people already saved stay with them.
Only publish recipes you have the right to share. Ingredient lists and basic methods aren't owned by anyone, but other people's recipe writing, photos and introductions are, so put things in your own words and credit your source.
Be decent
Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, or spam, and don't pretend to be someone else. Comments are for cooking: what you changed, how it went, tips. Anyone signed in can report a recipe or comment, and moderators can hide content or close accounts that break these rules.
Cooking is on you
Recipes come from cooks like you and from adapted published recipes. Check amounts, allergens, cooking temperatures and food safety yourself. Sous Sheet is provided as is, without warranties, and isn't liable for what happens in your kitchen.
Changes
These terms may change as the site grows. Big changes will be announced on the site. Questions or problems: email [email protected].
